Hybrid (San Francisco)Full-timePosted 4mo ago
About the role
Technical Program Manager to drive complex, cross-cutting AI infrastructure programs across domains from GPUs to multi-cluster orchestration. Execution-first role focused on turning ambiguity into structured, governed programs with clear ownership and measurable milestones.
Responsibilities
- Own complex migrations end to end. Lead large-scale infrastructure migrations across teams and domains.
- Drive process across infrastructure. Establish operating rhythms: planning cadences, status reporting, decision logs, risk reviews, escalation paths.
- Help managers build the right structures. Design team structures, ownership boundaries, and working models for program success.
- Own follow-ups relentlessly. Track open items, manage action registers, and close loops to unblock decisions.
- Create clarity from ambiguity. Turn loosely defined goals into scoped, sequenced, resourced plans with owners and milestones.
- Manage risk and dependencies. Surface cross-team risks early, drive mitigation, and keep leadership informed with updates.
- Communicate up, down, and across. Translate technical programs for senior leadership and run effective program reviews.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of technical program management experience, delivering large, cross-team infrastructure or platform programs.
- Demonstrated ownership of complex migrations or comparable multi-domain initiatives from inception through completion.
- Strong execution discipline with structures, cadences, and tracking to keep programs on rails; follow-through imperative.
- Comfort operating across multiple infrastructure domains; ability to engage credibly with compute, storage, networking, and data engineers.
- Proven ability to influence without authority, aligning teams and managers around shared plans.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to make complex technical programs legible to any audience.
- Bias toward closure; preference for completing tasks over leaving open loops.
