About the role

Finance Systems Analyst role focused on modernizing Datadog's finance organization through process automation, data analytics, and financial systems optimization. Hybrid work model with collaboration across Accounting, FP&A, Tax, IT, and other finance stakeholders; leveraging SQL, Python, Tableau, and AI-enabled workflows to automate and improve financial reporting and processes.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Accounting, FP&A, Tax, and other Finance stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into scalable reporting and analytics solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, Business Systems, Sales Systems, and Analytics to drive data and automation initiatives.
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reporting tools that monitor financial and operational performance and support evolving business priorities.
  • Automate recurring finance processes and enhance data workflows using AI tools, data visualization platforms, and custom solutions.
  • Support financial system implementations and upgrades through data migration, mapping, reporting integration, testing, and validation activities.
  • Deliver analytical insights and maintain documentation that enables self-service reporting and informed decision-making across Finance.

Qualifications

  • Have 2-6 years of experience in data analytics, financial systems, finance operations, or a related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline.

Skills

Required:SQLPythonTableau (or Power BI/Looker)
Nice to have:Financial systems (NetSuite, Workday, Zip or similar)
