About the role

Datadog’s in-house product experts on the Partner Solutions Architects team. The PSA supports partner technical initiatives, enables partner resources, and acts as a trusted technical advisor to the Partner channel within the Pan-EMEA region (Germany, Remote; Italy, Remote; Spain, Remote; Sweden, Remote; The Netherlands, Remote; United Kingdom, Remote). Hybrid workplace with focus on collaboration and enabling partner success.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the successful onboarding, training, enablement, and certification of partner technical resources
  • Participate in periodic joint business planning and review sessions to align Datadog and Partner technical teams
  • Collaborate internally to support Partner technical initiatives such as end-customer demonstrations and proofs of value; partner team enablement workshops; assessment, advice, and coaching on lead practices
  • Advocate on behalf of Partners’ technical concerns with Datadog internal teams and personnel, helping to bring those concerns to resolution
  • Analyze and understand Partner service offerings and provide recommendations to enhance value through greater adoption of Datadog features
  • Collaborate with Datadog’s product management, engineering and technical services teams to identify and prioritize new features and capabilities
  • Continuously help curate and evolve lead/best practices for Datadog platform adoption and success.

Qualifications

  • Possess a solid technical grounding with hands-on experience of IT Development and/or Operations
  • 10-15 years of experience in a customer or partner facing technical role
  • Self-starter, tech-savvy professional with solid business acumen; ability to articulate Datadog value from server room to boardroom
  • Confident presentation skills
  • Hands-on experience in two or more areas: Observability, Public Cloud, Containerization, Dev/Scripting, Config Mgmt, CI/CD
  • Bonus: experience with channel partners, using Datadog or other cloud monitoring tools, root-cause-analysis/troubleshooting.
