About the role

Senior hardware development engineer responsible for hardware design, development, and maintenance of component boards for AWS servers, focusing on next-generation technology across domains such as high-speed interconnects, multi-core processors, and high-capacity memory within the AWS Board Core Design team.

Responsibilities

  • Own the hardware component board from architecture, development, validation and operations for EC2 servers
  • Develop building blocks for next-generation servers
  • Work on multiple domains including high speed interconnects, multi-core processors, and high-capacity memory
  • Collaborate with AWS teams to deliver safety, security, and cost efficiency for customers
  • Owns engineering aspects across architecture, development, validation, and operations of component boards

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent
  • 7+ years of new hardware products development experience
  • 4+ years of hardware design and validation of components, subsystems and systems experience
  • Experience developing high quality test plans, test designs, test strategies, and test execution
  • Fluency in English (speaking, writing, reading)
