About the role

WHS Manager leading a comprehensive safety program, partnering with Operations, and driving data-driven risk reduction and continuous safety improvement at an Amazon site.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a comprehensive safety program and serve as the site's safety facilitator for the Global WHS Program.
  • Partner with Operations leadership to weave safety into daily operations and use data-driven insights to reduce risk and improve productivity.
  • Lead risk assessments and transform safety data into actionable strategies.
  • Build and develop a high-performing team of WHS professionals and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Drive safety leadership, innovation, and initiatives to meet WHS policies; conduct site audits and address non-compliance issues.
  • Oversee recordkeeping, workplace organization, and WHS training programs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of increasing responsibilities in EHS and/or environmental programs in manufacturing, production, or service operations
  • 5+ years of increasing responsibilities in people and performance management
