About the role

Production Supervisor to lead Kuiper satellite production operations on a 4/10 schedule (Wednesday–Saturday, 6:30am–5:00pm) for the Leo Propulsion team, focusing on assembly, testing, and integration of Kuiper satellites in a clean-room/ESD environment, with emphasis on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Hire, develop and supervise leads and a large group of technicians; conduct annual reviews and manage corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with Kuiper leaders and manufacturing engineers to plan daily technician tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Establish on-the-job training programs and standardized learning paths.
  • Independently manage Technicians performing integration and test of Kuiper satellite and sub-assemblies in clean-room/ESD environment.
  • Inspect and verify team work to ensure engineering and quality standards are met.
  • Author, maintain, and train others on process documentation (Assembly, Inspection, Testing/In-Process Characterization, Shipping Procedures).
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, design, operations and test engineers to develop, document and complete activities including continuous improvement.
  • Provide feedback and technical reviews on designs, processes, tools and equipment used in production environments.
  • Improve and enforce area safety and reporting mechanisms via audits and safety projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of professional experience leading a team
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in mechanical or electrical hardware assembly, test, and/or installation
