About the role

Embedded software development engineer to build and own server-related firmware within AWS Hardware Engineering Services, collaborating with software, hardware, and network engineers to develop firmware across embedded and large-scale distributed systems for AWS data center infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Server Baseboard Management Controller (BMC) Software.
  • Scripting language development.
  • Data Center Operation Support.
  • Linux driver development.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
  • Experience in embedded development in C/C++
  • Knowledge of system performance, memory management, and parallel computing principles
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Experience debugging, profiling, and implementing best software engineering practices in large-scale systems
