Amazon is a data-driven company focused on delivering orders on time with quality. The Process Assistant (IB) role involves mentoring and guiding associates to follow standard work practices while prioritizing safety and quality within fulfillment center operations.

Responsibilities

  • Daily Management of shift
  • Administrative management of associates
  • Job allocation to associates
  • Monitoring and mentoring of associates on productivity, quality and safety
  • Monitor status of counts and problem solve queues
  • Responsible for shift quality and associated action plans
  • Preparing and implementing training and development plans for associates
  • Conduct a 4M and 5S audit for the respective work stations on a daily basis
  • Stand-in for Area Manager

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience
  • High school or equivalent
  • Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
  • Can lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
  • Work 40 hours/week, and overtime as required
