About the role

As a Robot Safety Operator at Dyna Robotics, you will ensure the safe and reliable operation of our robotic systems during live testing and deployment at client sites, maintaining safety standards and supporting experimental operations. This role is primarily on-site at a client location in Bellvue, WA.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and control robotic systems to ensure adherence to safety protocols
  • Intervene in real time when unsafe behavior or unexpected events occur (e.g., activate emergency stop or perform recovery)
  • Conduct pre-task safety inspections and maintain secure testing environments
  • Record safety events and performance data to support continuous improvement

Qualifications

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience
  • Strong situational awareness and attention to detail
  • Ability to stand and move for extended periods
  • Ability to follow safety procedures and work independently with minimal supervision
  • Good communication skills and a collaborative attitude
