About the role

Octopus Energy UK is hiring a Field Sales Representative to engage with customers face-to-face at venues, promote energy tariffs and low-carbon technologies, and provide exceptional customer service to help customers switch to Octopus Energy.

Responsibilities

  • Directly engage with customers on a face-to-face basis to promote energy tariffs and low carbon technologies (e.g., solar panels, heat pumps, electric vehicles).
  • Introduce local communities to Octopus Energy as a preferred potential supplier by comparing services and products with other energy companies.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service and create a welcoming, positive experience for every new customer brought on board.

Qualifications

  • Sales experience is preferred but not required; training provided.
  • Confident in own communication style; good listener and able to connect with others.
  • Positive, approachable and confident communication.
  • Experience in a customer-centric setting with quick and effective customer solutions.
  • Willingness to approach customers and maximize every interaction.
  • People-oriented with a passion for delivering joy and making processes easy.
  • Attention to accuracy and detail in tasks.
  • Honest, focused and committed to representing the brand.
  • Driving license required to travel to venues across locations.
