About the role

Senior role responsible for end-to-end data-collection operations at scale for Genesis, building and operating the data collection engine on the production floor and across partner sites to generate training-ready data for robotics models.

Responsibilities

  • Run the floor end to end. Own scheduling, operator utilization, station uptime, and the throughput that delivers accepted hours at the quality bar, every week.
  • Build the operator bench. Recruit, level, and develop operators and senior operators who run shifts, for multiple shifts and sites.
  • Hold one standard everywhere. Enforce a consistent playbook, metrics, and quality bar across all floors and partner sites.
  • Turn problems into process. Root-cause delays and ship SOPs, layouts, and tooling to accelerate site ramp-up.
  • Partner on quality and annotation. Collaborate with Quality and Annotation to ensure hours convert to training-ready data.
  • Stand up partner-site collection. Rehearse and execute mock-runs and first deployments with partner operators on Genesis gear.
  • Report the truth. Build reporting on collected data, quality, and cost.

Qualifications

  • Built data collection at scale in robotics or embodied-AI environments; experience with teleoperation, glove-based data capture, or human-data operations at frontier labs or top data operations.
  • Strong background in throughput: scheduling, utilization, yield, and floor-level details.
  • Proven track record of maintaining a measurable quality bar in a running operation.
  • Bias for action with strong ownership and initiative.
  • Experience building and leading high-performing teams across sites and cultures.
