About the role

Senior HPC Support Engineer focusing on Ethernet and AI infrastructure to support a prestige customer onsite and remotely, with travel to College Station, TX. Role combines advanced networking, Linux server/OS troubleshooting, and AI tooling usage within NVIDIA’s NVEX Global Technical Support context.

Responsibilities

  • Resolve sophisticated customer concerns and technical issues through meticulous research and problem-solving for installations and supporting systems using Linux (multi-distro), with focus on NVIDIA Ethernet Switching technologies and NVIDIA Spectrum-X End-to-End Solutions.
  • Respond to customer product support inquiries via telephone, email or conference calls.
  • Resolve customer issues during installation, operation, maintenance or product application or interoperability with other vendors.
  • Participate in multi-functional team meetings and provide feedback to engineering and marketing on product requirements, customer experience, support tools, etc.
  • Develop, redefine and document standard methodologies to support internal teams (Support/R&D) for improved support processes.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years in providing in-depth customer support and debugging for hardware and software products.
  • Academic degree in Networking, Computer Science/Engineering, Electrical/IT or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated use of established AI technologies in day-to-day responsibilities.
  • Knowledge of Enterprise platform and systems engineering with Linux triage, servers, and capability to resolve hardware/OS issues.
  • Strong communication, ownership, analytical and team-oriented skills.
