About the role

Senior-level mixed-signal circuit design engineer role focused on high-speed analog/mixed-signal chip interfaces and functions for GPUs/SoCs. Responsible for design, floorplanning collaboration, debugging, characterization, and supporting production in deep sub-micron CMOS technologies. On-site in Taiwan (Hsinchu or Taipei).

Responsibilities

  • Be part of an analog team developing high-speed chip interfaces and complex analog functions that enable GPUs and SoC products (Tegra)
  • Design state-of-the-art mixed-signal circuits in deep sub-micron CMOS technologies.
  • Work closely with physical/layout engineers to floorplan and implement physical design of these functions.
  • Support debug, characterization and support product through high-volume production.

Qualifications

  • MSEE or PhD in Electrical Engineering; 5+ years analog design experience in industry
  • Proven understanding of analog circuit layout concepts in submicron CMOS technologies; with experience in silicon design flow, from schematic, layout, simulation, tape-out, silicon measurements
  • Experience in more than one: digital links for display interfaces (HDMI, LVDS, DVI, MIPI PHY, DisplayPort), USB, low-jitter clock synthesis using PLL techniques, IO pads, high-speed serial links, ADC
  • Proficiency in English (spoken and written); good teamwork, communication skills, enthusiasm
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Perl, Python, etc.); experience with design/verification tools (Cadence IC design environment, HSpice, Finesim, XA)
  • Experience with Cadence Virtuoso; experience running and debugging DRC and LVS with verification tools
