About the role

Senior HPC Support Engineer focusing on Ethernet and AI infrastructure, providing on-site and remote technical support for NVIDIA Ethernet Switching technologies and end-to-end solutions (e.g., Spectrum-X); involves customer engagement, issue resolution, collaboration with Engineering/Marketing/Support, and occasional on-site presence in Memphis, TN.

Responsibilities

  • Resolve sophisticated customer concerns and technical issues through research, reproduction, and problem solving for products and systems running Linux (multi-distro), with focus on NVIDIA Ethernet Switching technologies and End-to-End Solutions such as NVIDIA Spectrum-X.
  • Respond to customer product support inquiries via telephone, email or conference calls.
  • Resolve customer issues during installation, operation, maintenance or product application or interoperability with other vendors.
  • Participate in multi-functional team meetings and provide feedback to engineering and marketing regarding product requirements, customer experience, support tools, etc.
  • Develop, redefine and document standard methodologies to support internal teams (Support/R&D) for support processes and improvements.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in providing in-depth Customer Support and debugging for hardware and software products.
  • An academic degree from an accredited university/college in Networking, Computer Science/Engineering, or Electrical/IT (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience using established AI technologies in day-to-day responsibilities.
  • Knowledge of Enterprise platform and systems engineering; proficient in Linux triage, servers, and resolving hardware/OS internal issues.
  • Strong communication skills, teamwork, ownership mindset, and ability to manage and lead issue resolution for critical customer problems.
