About the role

Leads quality strategy and execution across the product development lifecycle, focusing on development stages, verification and validation from concept to Production release. Drives multi-functional alignment, risk management, and proactive quality improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Lead multi-functional teams to guarantee seamless completion of all development stages, adhering to technical guidelines and quality criteria.
  • Ensure robust execution of all development phases, adhering to engineering standards and defined quality requirements.
  • Drive proactive quality activities such as Inquiry, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and implement CAPA.
  • Identify, prioritize, track, and mitigate potential risks to prevent impact on schedule and quality.
  • Manage product changes and maintain configuration control throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Promote early detection mechanisms by driving early checks, continuous monitoring, and rapid resolution of identified issues.
  • Ensure adherence to quality control plans and processes; maintain and enhance design development, verification, and validation processes for high-quality products throughout the life cycle.
  • Partner with Continuous Improvement to drive Quality process improvements to reduce customer complaints and internal scrap; develop and coordinate department project planning.

Qualifications

  • B.Sc. in Electrical / Mechanical/ Material/ Chemical Engineering, or similar or equivalent experience.
  • 12+ years of experience in the Hardware design development or testing arena or as Process Engineer.
  • Preferable 5+ years in the field of quality.
  • Experience in manufacturing process or test engineering, board design/assembly or semiconductors knowledge and previous experience.
  • Background with hardware qualification, reliability processes, quality procedures and tools.
  • Familiarity with quality methods Risk assessment failure analysis and FMEA.
