About the role

Field Applications Engineer focused on datacenter system and network design for AI compute, providing onsite technical engagement for large NVIDIA AI deployments and enabling sales with technical expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Provide onsite support for large datacenter deployments of NVIDIA AI solutions.
  • Solving complex hardware and deployment issues
  • Be a technical specialist on GPU and networking products directly supporting sales account managers
  • Actively establish the technical relationship with customer engineers, management, and architects at focus accounts
  • Identify customer architectures and key product requirements in the enterprise AI market
  • Provide technical and sales training to the direct sales team and channel partners
  • Establish positive relationships and communication channels with internal teams
  • Up to 30% travel may be required

Qualifications

  • BS or MS in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of work-related experience in the high-tech electronics industry in a system design role or technical customer support role
  • In-depth knowledge of servers, storage systems, network devices, and other data center hardware
  • Capable of working in a constantly evolving environment without losing focus
  • Ability to multitask optimally in a multifaceted environment
  • Expert analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong time-management and organization skills for coordinating multiple initiatives, priorities, and implementations of new technology and products into very sophisticated projects
