About the role

Head of Talent responsible for building Wispr’s talent infrastructure from the ground up, sourcing and closing candidates, designing a standout candidate experience, scaling hiring processes, building a recruiting team, and owning employer branding.

Responsibilities

  • Source and close top talent: a researcher happy at a frontier lab, a former founder, the first sales leader at a winning team.
  • Design a seven-star candidate experience, built with the same care as Wispr Flow's first minutes.
  • Improve our hiring process across every function so our loops hold up as we scale. Coach hiring managers and provide founders with honest feedback.
  • Hire world-class recruiters. Build a team that’s a force multiplier of the Wispr talent flywheel.
  • Build compounding automation. Bring efficiencies into how the team works: agents and internal tooling can provide leverage for a small, experienced team.
  • Own our employer brand. Shape how the best people hear about Wispr, well before outreach.

Qualifications

  • Built and scaled recruiting through hypergrowth.
  • Ability to quickly evaluate exceptional hires.
  • History of improbable closes.
  • Strong ability to sell by understanding people first.
  • Candidates you didn’t close still refer you or would hire you again.
  • Great recruiters want to work for you and would follow you there.
  • Ability to tell founders the truth and improve them.
  • Willingness to try and kill experiments with a bias for simple, effective processes.
  • Active user of Wispr Flow.
