About the role

Head of Product for the Clients tribe at Upvest, leading product vision and strategy, driving intelligent, agentic operations, and scaling tooling (Internal Tooling or Upfront) to enable faster time-to-market and reduced costs while shaping the Clients Tribe roadmap.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the clients tribe's product vision and strategy, defining the tribe's strategy, set OKRs, and shape the long-term roadmap.
  • Drive asymmetric scaling through intelligent, agentic operations by embedding automation and AI across processes and tooling.
  • Own the roadmap for Internal Tooling or Upfront and push for deeper automation and broader coverage, prioritizing high-impact workflows.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Product leadership, and business stakeholders to ensure product relevance and measurable impact.
  • Provide Autonomy with inspirational leadership, owning the product success of the team and function.
  • Foster a product-centric culture and align with Engineering through joint OKRs and a clear roadmap.
  • Build and nurture an exceptional team with high engagement and impact, maintaining a strong eNPS.
  • Continual learning across investments, API products, and modern tech stack.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in Product Management, ideally with internal and/or external tooling; fintech or financial services experience a plus.
  • Proven people leadership of teams of 3+ people.
  • Strong UI/UX fundamentals; ability to ideate and prototype with lo-fi wireframes and collaborate with design.
  • Track record of taking initiative, owning outcomes, and bridging dependencies.
  • Ability to absorb complex topics quickly (e.g., subledger reconciliation, mutual fund trading flow) and apply product fundamentals.
  • Experience with agile software development and delivering features consistently.
  • Familiarity with product toolkits such as Linear, Slite, Miro, and Figma.
  • Interest in API documentation standards and AI agents consuming APIs (MCP or similar) is a strong plus.
