About the role

Senior Tax Operations Analyst role supporting tax information reporting and compliance for equity and crypto transactions, with a focus on exception reporting, data reconciliation, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with product, project, and engineering teams to launch, improve and scale Robinhood products and systems
  • Contribute to and track various tax related projects such as new product launches and promotions
  • Help Customer Experience and Account Operations handle tax inquiries and resolve reporting and withholding issues (including withholding, cost basis, retirement accounts, and crypto tax reporting)
  • Develop and assist with reconciliations of data between internal systems and vendors, and verify data from tax reporting vendor to IRS
  • Execute various exception reports covering reporting, withholding and cost basis, while implementing internal policies and procedures
  • Build and maintain dashboards for metrics and checklists to manage and change workflows and queries to improve team functions and customer experience
  • Work with various Robinhood entities and departments to streamline data flow and automate processes where possible

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or similar field
  • 3-5+ years of work experience in tax, accounting, and/or operations
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to manage and drive projects to completion in a deadline driven environment
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
