About the role
Senior ML Ops Engineer at Confido, responsible for owning and scaling the ML platform and infrastructure that supports production ML workloads, including pipelines, training/inference, and cloud foundation.
Responsibilities
- Own ML pipelines end to end — experimentation to production — and the infrastructure behind training, inference, and agentic workloads
- Provide a paved road for AI/ML teams with reproducible environments and fast paths from prototype to production
- Stand up cloud foundation as Infrastructure as Code and implement CI/CD for ML
- Serve and optimize inference and forecasting workloads — latency, throughput, and cost — and manage data streams
- Own the data interface with data engineering: serve the right data to models and agents, and write outputs back into platform data systems
- Ensure reliability, observability, security, and privacy as default; measure model/agent quality in production through online evals and human-in-the-loop review
Qualifications
- 5+ years in MLOps, ML platform, AI infrastructure, or platform engineering on production ML systems
- Strong capability writing production code and standing up cloud infrastructure
- Experience delivering a complete pipeline end to end with architecture, security, and cost trade-offs
- Deep cloud infrastructure understanding, distributed data systems, and IaC; able to bootstrap environments, wire CI/CD, and run containerized workloads in production
- Strong Python with production app codebase experience (Ruby, Java) and an eye for monitoring, security, and cost
- High ownership in a fast-moving startup and track record productionizing research/AI outputs
