About the role
Backend Engineer focused on infrastructure and platform to scale ZeitMind for onboarding enterprise customers, building the sync layer and tooling to enable fast, secure data integration and reliable, correct AI-driven analytics.
Responsibilities
- Build the sync layer: ingest millions of rows from ERP, CRM, and homegrown systems incrementally and reliably without handholding
- Cut onboarding time by abstracting data sources so agents work with them uniformly
- Design tools and architecture to enable parallel, safe execution and sub-agents to accelerate performance
- Route data securely between customer networks and Zeit AI infrastructure
- Build guardrails for correctness with automatic checks and integrated validation tooling
- Keep the platform simple by choosing boring, robust technologies and providing clear justifications for each system
Qualifications
- Lead architect or equivalent experience: built multiple large systems and evolved them
- Strong TypeScript and cloud infrastructure experience
- English C1 or above; German a plus
