About the role

Product Guide role in Arc’teryx North Vancouver Outlet focusing on delivering an exceptional guest experience, building product knowledge, and supporting store initiatives in a retail environment.

Responsibilities

  • Delivering a best-in-class brand experience to guests through sharing technical product knowledge and supporting with problem solving
  • Building a strong understanding of products and weaving this information into guest interactions
  • Championing Arc’teryx as a brand ambassador in-store and in the community
  • Developing passions both in and out of the store with team support
  • Supporting store leadership on projects and brand initiatives to elevate guest experience
  • Providing feedback on merchandising and in-store experience to drive sales
  • Maintaining open, collaborative relationships with team and store leadership
  • Participating in store tasks as assigned by leadership
  • Answering store phones and responding to voicemails and emails; occasionally responding on Epicenter social media channels
  • Using the Point-of-Sale system to process guest transactions (warranties, Used Gear trade-ins, purchases, returns)
  • Receiving and unpacking boxes for inventory (boxes weigh 5-30 lbs)

  • Self-motivated with problem solving
  • Flexible and adaptable in ambiguous situations
  • Ability to balance autonomy with collaboration
  • Desire to get outside and live the brand experience
