About the role

Senior Software Engineer specializing in React Native, focused on mobile repayment UX. Remote role in Poland within a Europe-based, time-zone aligned, Silicon Valley–rooted full-stack team. Responsible for delivering quarterly team goals, collaborating across product, design and analytics, maintaining code quality, and developing talent at scale.

Responsibilities

  • Owning and delivering quarterly goals for the team, leading engineers through ambiguity to solve open-ended problems, and ensuring delivery support.
  • Collaborating with product management, design & analytics in ideation, articulating technical constraints, and making decisions with risks and trade-offs.
  • Proactively identifying and solving project, process, technology or business issues.
  • Supporting operations and availability of team artifacts by creating/monitoring metrics and participating in on-call efforts.
  • Fostering a culture of quality and ownership by setting/improving code review and design standards, and sharing these beyond the team through writing and talks.
  • Helping develop talent on the team by providing feedback and leading by example.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience developing and architecting mobile applications, preferably with React Native or declarative UI frameworks.
  • Proficiency with JavaScript/TypeScript, or track record of learning similar languages.
  • Experience defining a technical plan for delivering significant features or systems with elegant, extensible design.
  • Ability to make significant changes in a large codebase and implement safe tooling and practices.
  • Demonstrated ownership of personal growth and proactive feedback seeking.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with a global engineering team.
