About the role

Global Payroll role responsible for delivering accurate, timely, and compliant payroll services across multiple countries, starting with UK and Spain, with expansion to additional EU countries.

Responsibilities

  • Reporting to the Senior Manager, Global Payroll
  • Collaborate with People Platform, Benefits, Legal, and Finance on payroll matters with cross-functional impact
  • Process U.K. and Spain payroll (with growth to additional EU countries)
  • Assist with processing RSUs and ESPP earnings and taxation
  • Process garnishments and levies
  • Assist with audit and compliance procedures related to payroll
  • Support month-end closing for all payroll related accounts
  • Assist with annual financial statement audit and be the primary contact for payroll-related audit testing for respective countries
  • Conduct year-end reporting for respective countries
  • Answer employee questions regarding pay, benefits, etc.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10-15 years of international payroll experience with a focus on EMEA countries
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training and education beyond high school
  • Strong math, analytical, research, problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Strong system and data flow knowledge; ability to learn and adapt to new processes and software technologies
  • Self-motivated, flexible, deadline-oriented, able to work with limited supervision
  • Creative and critical thinker; thrives in fast-paced, dynamic, often ambiguous environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills across the organization
  • Experience with systems migration and integration of different systems is a plus
  • Knowledge of NetSuite or Workday is a plus
