About the role

Staff Data Scientist role focused on building predictive workforce insights, unified data models, and AI-enabled people analytics to improve talent management, team performance, and retention at Robinhood.

Responsibilities

  • Spearhead the next phase of talent intelligence: build predictive frameworks to forecast workforce outcomes
  • Architect a unified workforce data model by pipeline data across recruiting systems, performance cycles, surveys, and internal tools; leverage AI-native workflows to parse unstructured text
  • Define the metrics dictionary and semantic layer to standardize measurements across the company and ensure data trustworthiness
  • Drive data access control and governance with role-based access controls and data masking
  • Redesign employee sentiment architecture with continuous, always-on listening for real-time organizational health and risk indicators
  • Own product delivery as the technical product owner for internal data interfaces, collaborating with Enterprise Engineering for usability, predictive accuracy, and reliability
  • Enforce rigorous statistical standards using experimental design, A/B testing, and psychometrics to validate predictive models and survey frameworks

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of data science experience with advanced skills in Python, SQL, and experience with Snowflake, BigQuery, or dbt
  • Strong product focus with experience defining user requirements and taking internal data tools from conception to launch
  • Deep understanding of statistics, experimental design, and psychometrics or survey methodology
  • Direct experience integrating language models into data pipelines for automated text processing and summarization
