About the role

Field-based, hands-on role focused on on-site support, learning, improving, scaling, and collaboration to ensure Tenant Power installations are consistent, safe, and go-live-ready.

Responsibilities

  • Hands-on on-site support: work with installers during first setups, live installs, and troubleshooting; master Tenant Power design, meter setups, and sign-off requirements.
  • Bridge the gap with OE Homes Delivery team to ensure guides are practical on-site (kit setups, battery/inverter wiring, meter placement, data monitoring).
  • Set teams up for success by ensuring installers understand technical requirements, approved kit lists, and platform guides.
  • Learning, improving, and scaling: identify what makes installs smooth or problematic; feed insights to design, training, and standards teams; prioritize projects likely to go live.
  • Be the feedback loop: track common installer questions and issues and communicate to relevant teams.
  • Collaboration and alignment: coach installers on standards and design intent; connect housing associations, installers, supply chain, data, and delivery teams to smooth the journey from installed to live.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience supporting or delivering domestic solar PV and battery storage installations and necessary qualifications
  • Practical experience with battery commissioning, inverter setup, export settings and monitoring platforms
  • Relevant electrical background or qualification, with current BS 7671 / 18th Edition knowledge or competence
  • Ability to read approved designs, schematics, Bills of Materials and platform-specific installation guidance
  • Strong practical problem-solving skills and the ability to turn site issues into clear feedback for design, training, data and delivery teams
  • Willingness to travel regularly across the UK, including overnight stays where required
