About the role

Design Engineer focused on prototyping, building, and polishing audio product experiences, connecting design and code from sketches to shipped interactions across desktop, web, plugin, and mobile.

Responsibilities

  • Build production-quality UI components and interactions that delight musicians and producers
  • Rapidly prototype new concepts to test ideas before committing to a full build
  • Own the quality of UI across our suite of audio products — pixel-perfect execution and interactions that feel great in an artist's hands
  • Work with product, engineering, and audio research to figure out what's possible and shape where the product goes
  • Build design systems and component libraries that help the whole team ship faster across desktop, web, plugin, and mobile

Qualifications

  • You're equally comfortable in Figma and your code editor
  • Strong front-end engineering skills: React, TypeScript, Next.js, CSS, animations
  • Sharp eye for detail and care deeply about craft
  • You've shipped polished products and know what it takes to get from 90% to 100%
  • Move fast — prototyping ideas in hours, not days
  • Think in systems, not one-off screens
  • Genuinely excited about AI and want to help define how the future of creative tools works
