About the role

Mercor is building its first mobile app and seeks a Mobile-focused Product Manager to own it end to end, from concept to launch and beyond. You will define the mobile strategy, drive the full lifecycle, and validate the impact of mobile users within Mercor’s AI-enabled platform.

Responsibilities

  • Launch the mobile surface: define roadmap for how experts apply to jobs, track contracts, and submit assessments on mobile.
  • Own the full lifecycle: end-to-end product management including release management, app store operations, mobile analytics and instrumentation, and post-launch growth.
  • Advance the frontier of AI: build and own products enabling Mercor to organize expertise into better AI models.
  • Understand the Business: work backwards from business outcomes to influence growth and health.
  • Get in the weeds: write specs and PRDs, build dashboards, and issue small PRs to unblock yourself.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years as a product manager, with significant time spent on mobile products.
  • Mobile launch experience: shipped and scaled mobile apps, native experiences, app store releases and review cycles, growth from zero to adoption.
  • Proven 0-to-1 track record: built and launched at least one product from scratch in a greenfield context.
  • High Ownership: accountable for outcomes.
  • Independence: able to self-direct in ambiguous contexts.
  • Technical Fluency: comfortable building scrappy MVPs to validate direction or unblock engineering.
  • Strategic Vision: ability to connect user needs and business context to long-term product direction.
  • User Obsession and Understanding: frequent user research and customer interviews.
  • Balance of Metrics & Vision: comfortable with experiments and visionary bets.
