About the role

Dili is a YC-backed startup automating compliance and due diligence for the construction industry using AI. The Product Manager will own meaningful product areas from discovery through launch, working directly with customers, engineers, designers, compliance experts, and founders in a hands-on early-stage environment.

Responsibilities

  • Own product areas: develop understanding of users and own roadmap, priorities, and outcomes for one or more parts of the product.
  • Talk to users: lead customer interviews, observe real workflows, distinguish recurring problems from one-off requests.
  • Define what to build: turn ambiguous needs into clear problem statements, product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Drive execution: collaborate with engineering and design, resolve open questions, keep projects moving.
  • Prioritize thoughtfully: balance customer impact, business value, technical constraints, regulatory requirements, and long-term direction.
  • Own quality: test new functionality, identify edge cases, coordinate launches, ensure the product solves the problem.
  • Use data: analyze usage and operational data to identify friction, validate assumptions, measure outcomes.
  • Partner across the company: collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, Compliance, and Operations to deliver customer value.
  • Improve how we build: help establish lightweight processes for clarity without slowing the team down.

Qualifications

  • Experience owning and shipping software products used by real customers.
  • Strong product judgment to identify underlying problems behind customer requests.
  • Clear, concise written and verbal communication.
  • Comfortable working with engineers and discussing technical constraints and tradeoffs.
  • Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision making.
  • Ability to turn ambiguity into structure and drive progress without perfect information.
  • Willingness to dive into details, test the product, and take ownership of the final result.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment with shifting priorities.
