About the role

Senior Revenue Accountant at Clipboard Health (Remote, US). The role focuses on month-end close, journal entries, ASC 606 analyses, revenue and accounts receivable processes, internal controls, and collaboration with the Finance team to ensure timely and accurate financial statements.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and book journal entries to ensure the appropriate revenue, cost and AR treatments
  • Complete ASC 606 analyses for new revenue streams.
  • Assist with monthly accounting close including analyzing fluctuations and providing meaningful financial reporting.
  • Understand relevant accounting principles and communicate such principles to peers and business partners, primarily in written form.
  • Analyze current procedures and make recommendations to develop and drive process improvements to achieve efficiency and scalability.
  • Operate with minimum supervision.
  • Support the external audit process and create improvements for any inefficiencies identified.
  • Assist in implementation, maintenance, and adherence to internal controls and accounting procedures ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP.
  • Internal reporting and special projects on request.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of recent and relevant accounting experience
  • Advanced MS Excel skills and experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
