About the role
The Billing Representative (BR) on Clipboard’s Collections team within Billing is responsible for ensuring workplaces pay invoices on time by following up via phone and email, securing payment commitments, and removing roadblocks through cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Monitor accounts to identify outstanding debts.
- Call and email accounts payable contacts, administrators, and others as needed to ask about overdue payments and upcoming dues.
- Build relationships with workplaces (e.g., set expectations about billing policy, explain NET & Dispute Terms).
- Identify the root cause of non-payment and resolve billing concerns.
- Report on collections updates and accounts receivable status.
- Identify critical accounts and devise SMART action plans to address issues.
