About the role

Role focused on turning manual reporting into self-serve data products, identifying and fixing workflows that slow teams, and prioritizing tooling requests to build high-impact solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with business stakeholders to define key metrics and establish trusted data sources
  • Contribute to requirements for live, self-serve dashboards for executives, including drill-down from summary to detail
  • Help prioritize reports or metrics for automation based on manual, stale, or error-prone nature
  • Identify manual, spreadsheet-driven work worth automating and drive end-to-end fixes
  • Scope fixes and decide between lightweight builds (scripting, no-code tools, AI-assisted coding) and full engineering builds
  • Write engineering-ready specs for handed-off work to technical partners
  • Identify and document opportunities for AI agents or automation to replace manual coordination
  • Support tool-request pipeline: collect, triage, and prioritize requests by impact vs effort
  • Maintain a visible roadmap and build strong relationships with supported teams to ground priorities
  • Build end-user focused tooling from a user's perspective and ensure adoption of dashboards/tools
  • Operate with cross-functional collaboration and clear written communication

Qualifications

  • Early-career product, business operations, analytics, or technical program management experience
  • Comfort with data, spreadsheets, and lightweight tooling (SQL, no-code platforms, AI coding assistants)
  • Exposure to designing workflows or tools with end-user perspective
  • Track record of shipping a tool, process fix, or internal script rather than only recommending changes
  • End-user experience judgment, prioritization skills, lightweight execution, cross-functional relationship-building, clear written communication
