About the role

Role focused on developing and owning the App Hub surface to provide a unified experience for app-centric manageability, observability, and governance within Google Cloud Platform. Involves designing scalable, high-throughput systems, integrating multiple data sources, and mentoring engineers.

Responsibilities

  • Model resources across compute infrastructure, cloud networking, BigQuery, agents, and more.
  • Ingest data from multiple sources (real-time events, checkpoint files) with parallel stacks for real-time processing and offline reconciliation at App Hub and CAIS ends.
  • Architect a system for massive scale and high throughput.
  • Enrich data with product mappings, MapReduce mappings, and identities from various systems, using real-time and offline reconciliation paths to ensure data integrity, freshness, and lossless handling.
  • Design a system that is operationally sound, scalable, and resilient to handle failures gracefully.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in software development.
  • 5 years of experience testing and launching software products.
  • 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.
