About the role
Ambrook is seeking a Contract-to-Hire Product Specialist (Sales) to guide owner-operators across multiple industries from first touch through activation and early expansion, serving as a product expert and driving adoption of fintech and Full Service features.
Responsibilities
- Lead Ambrook demos end-to-end, walking customers through the product and closing them independently.
- Become a master on the phones, handling a high volume of inbound leads and guiding them towards the product that fits their needs, hitting target numbers.
- Establish deep relationships with your team and cross-functional peers.
- Master your pipeline and essential tools (HubSpot, Nooks, Slack, etc.) you'll need to scale up.
- Embed yourself in the state of small-business finance across core verticals, building intuition about customer needs and audience segmentation.
- Understand product well enough to answer most questions and provide prioritized feedback to product teams.
- Consistently hit or exceed quota to help achieve growth targets.
- Drive adoption of fintech and Full Service features to promote long-term retention.
- Qualify and serve owner-operators across multiple verticals, tailoring pitches to financial realities (e.g., enterprise-level P&L for ag, job costing for contractors, AR velocity for high-volume invoicers, per-property economics for landlords).
- Know the market alternatives and position Ambrook clearly against them.
- Interview, collaborate with, and help train peers and new team members.
- Surface recurring customer themes and identify ICP prospects that can be served without a sales call.
Qualifications
- Direct operator experience preferred (farm, ranch, construction, or trade) or equivalent experience in high-volume, customer-facing environments.
- Hospitality, retail, or door-to-door sales experience acceptable.
- Thoughtful, compassionate, and empathetic communication approach.
- AI-forward systems thinker capable of leveraging AI tools to improve systems.
- Bonus: experience with product-led growth, sales-assist, activation/onboarding, or channel-partner motions.
- Bonus: experience in American real-economy industries (ag, trucking, construction, trades, or property management).
- Bonus: experience in fintech or accounting/bookkeeping.
