About the role

Meesho is hiring an Assistant Manager Finance to scale up Supply Chain finance for the marketplace by delivering data-driven financial solutions, automated invoicing validation, supplier performance insights, and cross-functional partnering.

Responsibilities

  • Data Analysis & insights: Clean and analyze data using Excel, SQL, Power BI and GenAI methods; perform variance/trend analysis to flag deviations.
  • Develop automated programs to validate invoices from external Logistics Partners; analyze billing discrepancies and drive dispute closures with Business and Operations teams.
  • Build supplier scorecards on quality, delivery, pricing, compliance; conduct operational and credit risk assessments.
  • Identify cost-saving or process-optimization opportunities; use root cause analysis to mitigate delivery bottlenecks.
  • Liaise with procurement, finance, logistics, warehouse & IT teams to present analytical insights and dashboards across stakeholders.
  • Perform provision vs actuals analysis and report deviations.
  • Coordinate with Internal & Statutory Auditors for timely closure of audit requirements.
  • De-bottleneck supply operations by providing innovative finance solutions to business challenges.
  • Lead interactions with logistics partners to resolve disputes and queries; maintain positive vendor relationships.

Qualifications

  • Chartered Accountant or an MBA
  • Articleship in Big 4 preferred
  • 0-1 years post-qualification experience, preferably in a startup; experience in Supply Chain finance is an added advantage
  • Strong business acumen with a financial inclination
  • Good understanding of accounting nuances
  • Demonstrated experience in business partnering & external stakeholder management
  • Strong bias for speed of execution
  • Ability to multitask, think critically and execute tactically
  • Proven track record of finding innovative solutions to business problems
