About the role

Senior HR Business Partner to support business through people partnership, talent program delivery, and data-driven initiatives. Partners with managers and leaders on engagement, performance, employee relations, and organizational effectiveness in a fast-paced, hybrid NYC environment.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the HRBP team, managers and functional leaders to support employee engagement, team performance, and organizational effectiveness
  • Advise managers on employee relations, performance management, development conversations, and team dynamics
  • Manage employee relations issues and investigations for the teams you support
  • Execute core people programs including performance reviews, compensation cycles, engagement survey action plans, and talent planning processes
  • Analyze people trends and employee feedback to identify insights and actions
  • Use people analytics, business insights, and employee feedback to identify trends, assess organizational health, and drive engagement and retention strategies
  • Partner cross-functionally with Recruiting, People Operations, Legal, and Finance to support consistent employee processes and experiences
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to scaling people practices across the organization
  • Use AI tooling to automate manual workflows and increase your strategic impact
  • Build trusted relationships with employees and managers through responsive, thoughtful partnership
  • Contribute to broader People Team initiatives and cross-functional projects as needed

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in HR Business Partner, People Operations, Talent Management, or related HR roles
  • Experience partnering with managers and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail with organizational rigor around data management and documentation
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate effectively in ambiguity
  • Enthusiasm for a start-up environment
  • Working knowledge of performance management, employee relations, and talent processes
  • Analytical mindset with comfort using people data and insights to inform recommendations
  • Strong judgment, empathy, and ability to build trust across all levels of the organization
  • Healthcare or healthcare technology experience is a plus, but not required; curiosity and business acumen to understand teams
  • Experience supporting a front-line workforce is a plus but not required
