About the role

Senior Manager responsible for driving the development and productization of SoCs, leading cross-functional teams from concept to production, with emphasis on graphics, memory, and I/O subsystems, and delivering first silicon.

Responsibilities

  • Driving the execution of SOCs from concept to production.
  • Define, track, and coordinate project achievements and dependencies across IP design, integration, DFT, physical design, VLSI, emulation, software, and operations teams to ensure first silicon delivery.
  • Identify and characterize key technical risks and work with teams to mitigate them.
  • Work in a highly matrixed global engineering team.
  • Provide technical leadership to the team.

Qualifications

  • BSEE (MSEE / MSCE preferred) or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 10 overall years of proven experience in chip development, with at least 5+ years managing an SoC or a key sub-system.
  • Experience in development cycle of graphics processing, memory, and I/O sub-systems in SOC chips.
  • Deep knowledge of chip life cycle phases from concept to production (markets/architecture, front-end flows, back-end flows, silicon bring-up, reliability, qualifications).
  • Ability to multi-task across multiple projects and resolve complex technical issues in a matrixed organization.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and technical communications skills.
