About the role

Senior Local Product Engineer responsible for hardware-build to mass production support in NVIDIA’s Local Product Engineering group in Pune, India. Oversees product engineering activities on contract manufacturing lines, coordinating across hardware, software, firmware, and manufacturing to drive issue resolution, root-cause analysis, test planning, and onsite support.

Responsibilities

  • Leading Cross-Organizational Task Forces to address quality events and failure modes across hardware, software, and manufacturing.
  • Root Cause Analysis and Test Planning, including monitoring and controlling test yield for all stations.
  • Onsite engineering support (tier 1) for tests validation, test infrastructures, tests setup and station troubleshooting.
  • Introduction and training of new tests to CM engineering team.

Qualifications

  • B.S. in Electrical / Electronic Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of technical experience in hardware design/system.
  • Experience in failure analysis/debugging/architecture or product engineer roles.
  • Familiar with manufacturing processes of electronic products.
  • Proficient with lab equipment and lab setups and troubleshooting skills.
  • Motivated teammate who stays up to date with new technologies and FA methodologies.
  • Proficient in English.
