About the role

Senior Map Data Validation Lead responsible for validating HD/SD map data for autonomous vehicles, developing validation strategy, identifying process gaps, performing manual and automated validation, and training map release operators.

Responsibilities

  • Develop overarching map data validation strategy by collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • Identify gaps in the existing map data validation process and implement improvement measures across map release team
  • Perform manual and automatic map data validation on a daily basis
  • Train/support map release operators

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience
  • Extensive knowledge of map data validation standards and methodologies
  • At least 6+ years of dedicated QA or operation experience in the area of map data validation
  • GIS background a phenomenal plus
  • A motivated individual capable of working autonomously with minimal direction
  • Phenomenal team player with excellent interpersonal skills
