About the role
Community-focused role owning Viktor’s online presence and health across Slack, Reddit, Trustpilot, G2, and more; coordinates with support, engineering, and product; turns community activity into growth, feedback, and content.
Responsibilities
- Run the community Slack. Own the room day to day. Answer fast, route the hard stuff, seed conversation, make sure no question dies unanswered. Set the norms, the channels, the culture.
- Coordinate across the company. Sit between customer support, engineering, and product, and manage those stakeholders. Route issues to the right owner, chase fixes to done, push the community's needs into the roadmap, and ensure the loop closes.
- Organize events and fuel grassroots movements. Founder AMAs, build-alongs, office hours, power-user roundtables, launches, end-to-end execution; local meetups, community-run challenges, and champions hosting.
- Own the wider community footprint. Moderate Reddit presence (subreddit to be launched), own reviews on Trustpilot, G2, and other surfaces; run campaigns to convert happy users into public proof at scale.
- Activate people. In-community onboarding, prompts, challenges, recognition to move people up the engagement ladder.
- Relay feedback to the team. Early-warning system for bugs, requested features, and friction points; document patterns and push to the right teams.
- Build the champion layer. Identify evangelists, enable them with visibility and hosting opportunities; collaborate with ambassador and early access programs.
- Turn the community into content and proof. Capture workflows, stories, and quotes as case studies, social posts, and launch assets.
Qualifications
- You've run a community before (Slack/Discord/forum/subreddit) for a B2B SaaS, dev tools, or AI product, with measurable impact.
- Genuinely social online; you initiate conversations and make people feel seen.
- Coordinate across teams; can manage stakeholders and close loops without a manager.
- Operator mindset: run events, build onboarding flows, track engagement, and ship.
- Technically curious; capable of engaging with technical users and understanding Viktor’s product.
- Quick to read a product and its users; identify customer pain points quickly.
- Sharp writing: clear, warm, fast communication.
- Comfortable in chaos; ownership mindset in a small team with no playbook.
