About the role

Internship role to lead social channels for Emerge Career during the school year, with potential to join full-time after graduation. Focus on storytelling, content distribution, and building a performance-driven social strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Creative Strategy and Viral Sense: develop winning formats, identify hook patterns, and brief formats for distribution across platforms.
  • Full-Stack Video Production: record/create TikToks and publish using content database.
  • Creator Program & UGC Pipeline: own creator program end-to-end, develop sourcing strategy, scripts, workflows, agreements, and payments.
  • Creator Community: manage and grow creator roster, engage and iterate with performers, run challenges and incentives.
  • Reporting & Optimization: track CPM, CTR, and creative performance by format and creator.
  • Performance & Targets: analyze views, signups, CAC, DAU by channel; produce weekly reports and optimize creatives.

Qualifications

  • Willing to work in-person in New York City
  • Passionate about working with underrepresented communities and addressing poverty and inequity
  • Experience taking a project from 0 to 1
  • Comfort with CapCut, Premiere, Final Cut, TikTok editing tools, Canva, or similar
  • A personal TikTok, Reels, or content portfolio
  • Strong analytical ability—comfortable building attribution models and turning metrics into decisions
  • Experience growing a social account to 10K+ followers and turning it into an acquisition engine
  • Comfort filming casual moments and making them polished without overproducing them
