About the role

Lead a cross-functional engineering organization responsible for multiple AI leverage domains and the Internal AI Platform at Ridgeline, partnering with technical and business leaders to deliver AI-powered products, intelligent agents, and shared capabilities that amplify employee productivity.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and grow a team of engineers building AI-powered products, intelligent agents, and automation platforms that increase productivity across Ridgeline.
  • Own the engineering strategy and execution across multiple AI leverage domains, delivering a cohesive Internal AI Platform that scales intelligent capabilities throughout the company.
  • Define and drive Ridgeline's internal AI roadmap, prioritizing investments that create the greatest organizational leverage.
  • Shape the long-term vision for Ridgeline's Internal AI Platform, enabling every employee to accomplish more through intelligent agents, automation, and AI-native workflows.
  • Build an AI-first engineering organization where engineers leverage LLMs throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Partner with leaders across Engineering, Product, Go-to-Market, Customer Experience, Operations, and Corporate Functions to deliver AI products employees actively adopt.
  • Build a culture of experimentation evaluating LLM capabilities, AI frameworks, developer tools, and AI agents with high engineering quality.
  • Guide architecture and delivery of scalable, secure, reliable AI systems integrated into workflows.
  • Establish engineering processes, metrics, and operational practices for rapid delivery with measurable business outcomes.
  • Measure success via adoption, productivity gains, operational leverage, and business impact; evolve roadmap accordingly.
  • Recruit, develop, and retain world-class AI and platform engineers; raise technical and leadership bar.
  • Mentor engineering leaders and individual contributors to grow technically and impactfully.
  • Drive technical decision-making across multiple workstreams balancing long-term platform investments with immediate priorities.
  • Foster AI adoption by rethinking workflows and AI-native ways of working to raise productivity.
  • Help define the future of work at Ridgeline by making AI a seamless part of daily employee experience.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of software engineering experience, including significant experience leading and growing high-performing engineering teams.
  • Demonstrated success managing engineering managers and/or senior engineers during rapid growth.
  • Passion for generative AI with track record applying LLMs, AI agents, and modern AI practices to create business leverage.
  • Curiosity about evolving AI landscape and ability to distinguish durable technologies from hype.
  • Experience building AI platforms, internal developer platforms, enterprise AI products, or workflow automation solutions.
  • Strong technical judgment to guide architectural decisions across multiple teams.
  • Ability to partner with executive stakeholders to identify opportunities and deliver measurable outcomes.
  • Track record of building products driving organization-wide productivity and adoption.
  • Passion for hiring, developing, and retaining engineering talent; ability to create an environment for best work.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to influence technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Growth mindset, problem-solving ability, and desire to build both people and technology.
  • Willingness to learn about emerging AI technologies and expand expertise in enterprise software, intelligent systems, and organizational productivity.
