About the role

Role at the intersection of robotics, AI, and field work. Builds and deploys AI-enabled robotic solutions on the factory floor, combining mechanical, electrical, and software work.

Responsibilities

  • AI Solution Design & POC Development – Identify where AI (computer vision, object detection, visual language models) adds leverage; design and build proofs of concept; develop documentation, sample code, and integration guides
  • Field Deployment & Integration – Travel to customer sites to install, configure, and commission AI-enabled robotic cells; own full integration from camera placement to model deployment and testing; troubleshoot on-site until it works
  • Customer Training & Support – Train operators/engineers on AI capabilities; act as technical resource post-install; feed deployment learnings back to engineering/product teams
  • Internal Collaboration – Work with applications and engineering teams on feature testing, peripheral integrations, and platform expansion; contribute to internal AI knowledge base

Qualifications

  • Robot programming proficiency or adjacent software experience
  • Prior robotics knowledge
  • Surface-level fluency in ML models and techniques
  • Technical proficiency in an engineering environment
  • Willingness to travel – up to 50% domestically
