About the role

Senior System Software Engineer role in NVIDIA's Automotive Team focusing on safety and security compliant configuration software and system software for NVIDIA DRIVE platforms, with bring-up of Tegra SOC hardware, tooling, and high-integrity software development.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop safety (ISO26262) and security (ISO21434) compliant configuration software and system software for NVIDIA DRIVE platform for autonomous vehicles
  • Perform development & bring-up activities for next-generation Tegra SOC hardware and Systems
  • Design debugging solutions and tooling to improve developer experience on DRIVE platform
  • Architect and implement solutions to sophisticated issues & defects involving interactions between components partitioned across the large software stack
  • Use Formal Methods to design and develop high integrity software

Qualifications

  • BS/MS in electrical engineering, computer science, or computer engineering and more than 5+ years of experience with embedded systems
  • Experience configuring a complex virtualized system for the intended use case
  • Good understanding of computer architecture, operating system fundamentals and Ethernet networking
  • Strong experience in understanding board schematics, debugging board design issues and experience in engaging with vendors of hardware components
  • Strong Python/C/C++ and/or Ada/SPARK programming and debugging skills
  • A strong teammate; self-motivated with a positive approach
