About the role

Developer Relations Manager focused on analytical data processing, query execution and optimization, and integration of NVIDIA's data processing stack into external engines and platforms. Responsible for building technical expertise, running benchmarks, defining integration surfaces, and guiding adoption strategy across partners and open-source communities.

Responsibilities

  • Build and deepen technical expertise in analytical data processing, including query execution and optimization, columnar and vectorized processing, and distributed execution. Serve as a technical advocate and trusted resource for developers building and operating these systems, driving adoption of NVIDIA technologies such as Sirius, cuCascade, RAPIDS, cuDF, nvCOMP, and CUDA-X Data Processing.
  • Demonstrate and integrate NVIDIA's data processing stack into real query engines and OLAP databases across cloud, hybrid, and on-prem deployments.
  • Support developers, projects, and partners through onboarding and integration with working reference implementations, guides, and hands-on engineering help.
  • Track the analytical data processing ecosystem and share learnings to shape adoption strategy across NVIDIA teams and field organizations.
  • Collaborate with engine architects and NVIDIA engineering to resolve integration problems and define best-practice patterns.
  • Define the integration surface between NVIDIA's GPU data processing libraries and third-party query engines, specifying APIs and patterns for future integrations.
  • Own the benchmark evidence for GPU-accelerated analytics by designing and running TPC-H, TPC-DS, and ClickBench against CPU baselines and publishing results.
  • Own the acceleration roadmap jointly with projects and partners, steering what gets built and in what order, through open source design reviews and joint planning with partner engineering leadership.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of professional experience in software engineering, developer relations, technical partnerships, solutions architecture, or product management, including hands-on experience with analytical data systems.
  • Experience with open source data projects and their communities, commercial data platforms, ISVs, or cloud data services.
  • Proficiency in the internals of analytical data systems: query execution and optimization, vectorized/columnar processing, joins and aggregation, and storage formats like Parquet and Arrow; comfortable with large C++, Rust, or Python codebases.
  • Ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams and deliver technical presentations or demos.
  • Ability to manage and implement technical projects, solve integration challenges, and effectively communicate complex ideas to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong communication skills and a passion for helping developers innovate with NVIDIA tools.
