About the role

Technical leader for large-scale Healthcare and Life Sciences transformation programs within AWS ProServe. Defines and owns the technical vision across AI/ML, data platform modernization, and enterprise architecture, guiding multi-stream delivery and advising executives on technology choices.

Responsibilities

  • Define and own end-to-end technical architecture for large-scale HCLS transformation programs, establishing reference architectures, reusable patterns, and technical standards across multiple builders.
  • Establish operational foundations for agentic AI including multi-model governance, observability, automated guardrails, and secure multi-agent orchestration.
  • Bridge executive expectations with pragmatic delivery, counseling VP+ on total cost of ownership, time-to-value, build vs. buy, and influencing decisions across customer and partner teams.
  • Drive cross-team alignment, resolve architectural conflicts, coach engineers across partner organizations, and raise the technical bar across the delivery organization.
  • Grow and apply AI/ML, data engineering, and HCLS industry expertise; translate innovations into concrete guidance and frameworks (e.g., Well-Architected Agentic AI Lens, Generative AI Lifecycle, AI-DLC).
  • Drive AI-DLC methodologies across delivery, redesign delivery models for scale, steer multi-agent systems, and embed AI-native workflows to maximize productivity and value.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in enterprise technology architecture delivery, with at least 5 years leading technical teams defining and governing architecture on complex transformation programs
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, related field, or equivalent experience
  • Depth in AI/ML, enterprise architecture modernization, or data architecture/engineering demonstrated through leadership on enterprise transformation programs
  • Strong executive communication skills for VP+ audiences
  • Ability to adopt and champion emerging delivery methodologies to accelerate productivity and time-to-value
