About the role

IT Technicians in Amazon's Operations teams support IT systems at operational sites, providing first and second-line IT support for local users, IT infrastructure, end-user devices, and applications. The role involves rotating shifts, project delivery, proactive maintenance, and opportunities for learning and career growth within the Ops Tech IT (OTS) team.

Responsibilities

  • Support local users by installing, supporting and fixing issues on the IT infrastructure, end-user devices and applications
  • Manage tickets, providing both first and second-line support
  • Provide proactive maintenance to maximise the availability of all IT equipment
  • Implement projects and deliver innovations together with other IT Service colleagues
  • Work in a rotating shift system

Qualifications

  • Experience communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, including colleagues and leadership
  • Experience in the use of hardware and software, including Microsoft Office and Windows, within an IT role
  • Experience working in IT support or IT asset management and procurement
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Valid EU driver’s license
  • Willingness to work in a rotating shift system
