About the role

Notion is hiring a software engineer new graduate (Dec 2026) to plan, build, and maintain product features end-to-end, improve performance and reliability, and develop internal tools.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, shape, and build new product features from conception to maintenance, including onboarding and activation flows.
  • Improve performance and reliability, e.g., updating spell checker across browsers or enhancing search for file attachments.
  • Build internal tools to support team productivity, such as scripts to import user feedback into Notion.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
  • To be eligible, graduate by Dec 2026 and start full-time by Jan/Feb 2027.
  • Previous internship experience.
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as TypeScript, Node.js, or Python.
