About the role

Founding HRBP role at Factory, partnering with leaders to build the HRBP function, org design, performance, compensation, and employee relations as the company scales in a high-growth tech environment.

Responsibilities

  • Advise functional leaders on org design, workforce planning, and growth plans as the company scales.
  • Own headcount planning and data integrity for client groups
  • Partner with leadership to build playbooks and frameworks for org design, performance calibration, compensation cycles, career ladders, and headcount foundations for the growing HRBP function
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on employee relations, coaching moments, policy issues, or escalations
  • Coach leaders and managers on performance, feedback, and people leadership
  • Contribute to L&D, People Program, and Total Rewards initiatives
  • Run performance reviews and the compensation cycle end to end for client groups — including calibration, consistency, and communication
  • Utilize data-driven approaches (attrition, span of control, performance distributions) to flag organizational risk
  • Use AI tools, including Factory’s own product, as a core part of operations
  • Balance building durable HR systems with day-to-day operational workload in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

  • 8+ years in HR, with a strong track record as an HRBP or People Partner in high-growth, fast-paced tech companies
  • Strong business acumen and ability to partner credibly with functional leaders
  • Curious problem-solver who analyzes root causes
  • Employee-focused mindset in system design
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to build trust at all levels
  • Comfortable operating in both strategic and hands-on capacities in a dynamic environment
  • Experience partnering with Finance on headcount planning and compensation strategy
