About the role

Regional Services Director (RSD) to lead and grow Elastic's Professional Services in the US Public Sector, with a focus on the Department of Defense and Intelligence Community. Hands-on leadership accountable for strategy, delivery, and financial performance across the region.

Responsibilities

  • Own the regional P&L: bookings, revenue, utilization, and margin; forecast accurately and manage the P&L to hit plan.
  • Define, communicate, and execute a multi-year growth strategy for USPS Services; collaborate with Sales Account and Delivery teams.
  • Engage directly with senior technical and mission stakeholders; demonstrate technical credibility and value of Elastic platform in search, observability, and security analytics use cases.
  • Own a portfolio of key accounts; drive discovery, shape solutions, negotiate, and ensure value realization; maintain relationships.
  • Lead the full pursuit cycle for complex, often classified engagements: scoping, proposal development, SOW structuring, pricing, contract negotiation.
  • Hire, develop, and build a technically excellent and commercially sharp team; foster growth and high performance.
  • Actively shape the direction of USPS Services, develop best practices, refine delivery methodologies, improve estimation and sizing, and transfer knowledge to sales.

Qualifications

  • 6 to 12+ years in professional services, pre-sales, or delivery leadership with a track record of owning commercial outcomes
  • Ability to lead in technically complex environments and engage with engineers and architects
  • Experience in search, analytics, observability, security, or related data/infrastructure domains
  • Proven record of growing a services business through offerings, delivery, partnerships, or expanded accounts
  • Experience owning and closing complex, multi-stakeholder negotiations including contract structure and milestone-based models
  • Comfort operating in or around classified environments; current or former DV/SC clearance strongly preferred
  • Ability to travel 30 to 50% of the time
